A hollow metal or aluminum frame section accommodates the door hinge and a glass sidelite or relite type per plans, at the intersection between a door frame and a sidelite where the door leaf is specified per plans and schedules. The adjacent wall conditions and frame anchorage maintain alignment between the door opening and the glazed partition.
