An interior partition wall intersects a continuous double-layered wall assembly to form a T-junction. Both partitions are constructed with cold-formed metal studs and finished with multiple layers of gypsum board on each side. Cavities within the stud framing are filled with acoustic batt insulation for sound attenuation. The perpendicular partition abuts the face layer of the continuous wall assembly, referenced to the architectural floor plans.
