A ninety-degree corner intersection of a one-hour fire-rated gypsum wallboard partition. The wall assembly is constructed with metal framing and faced with five-eighths-inch gypsum board on each side, finished with tape and joint compound. An exterior corner bead reinforces the outside corner, while internal gypsum layers and fasteners maintain the required fire rating.
