A metal parapet coping seats over a wood fiber tapered edge strip and a treated two-by-four wood nailer anchored to the top of the masonry wall. The waterproofing membrane extends below the nailer and secures behind a continuous metal cleat fastened with one-quarter-inch by four-inch masonry screw anchors spaced at twelve inches on center staggered. Separate counterflashing details illustrate reinforced membrane termination using bonding adhesive, water cut-off mastic, sealant, fasteners, and a termination bar.
