A storefront window head is set into an inset within an exposed concrete overhead slab. The concrete slab features a ninety-degree drip edge on the exterior side and a minimum three-quarters-inch clearance dimension. Backer rod and sealant are applied at the interior joint, labeled as rod and sealant-2. A second backer rod and sealant joint, labeled as rod and sealant-4, seals the exterior interface between the storefront head frame and the concrete. The storefront window is provided per the schedule with framing per architectural requirements.
