An aluminum window wall jamb connects to an aluminum break metal trim matching the window wall, sealed with backer rod and a sealant joint. The assembly features a prefinished exterior glue-laminated vertical fin attached via a kerf plate connection referenced to structural plans. A weather-resistive barrier covers mineral board insulation, backed by a foil-faced self-adhesive membrane and fluid-applied flashing. A one-quarter-inch hat channel with weep holes is incorporated behind the prefinished cedar siding.
