The roof drain assembly is installed per the manufacturer's specifications within a drain sump formed by tapered rigid insulation or equivalent, maintaining a slope of less than 3 inches to 1 horizontal foot. The assembly rests upon dens glass roof sheathing and is surrounded by rigid insulation. A reinforced membrane extends over the insulation to form a continuous waterproof barrier. Sealant is applied around the drain flange and membrane junctions to prevent water infiltration.
