A 1-1/2 inch diameter blackened steel pipe vertical post is set into a core-drilled hole in a concrete slab or wall. The core-drilled hole is 1 inch larger than the post outer diameter to accommodate non-shrink grout. The anchor depth is four times the railing diameter. A 1/4 inch blackened steel collar matching the posts sits at the surface over a bead of sealant.
