Non-reinforced flashing terminates over a layer of rigid insulation and a reinforced waterproofing membrane, secured with fasteners and fastening plates installed per the manufacturer's recommendations. A stainless steel clamping ring compresses the flashing against the vertical vertical surface, sealed at joints with applied sealant. Dimensional requirements include a half-inch minimum vertical lap, one-inch minimum and one-and-a-half to two-inch horizontal clearances, and fastening plates spaced at a maximum of twelve inches on center.
