A welded steel guardrail frame is constructed from one-quarter-inch by two-inch bar steel with continuous welds at the corners. The frame dimensions span three feet wide by three feet six inches high, featuring a diagonal corner brace with a one-inch typical clearance. The vertical supports terminate in base plates resting on a concrete substrate, anchored six inches above the base. The assembly is finished with a powder coating as specified in the exterior finish legend.
