At Level 5, a concrete slab on metal deck is supported by structural steel beams at the roof edge and parapet transition. The roof assembly consists of a single-ply PVC roofing system over continuous wood blocking and insulation sloping at 1/4 inch per 12 inches. The parapet wall utilizes cold-formed metal framing, with an interior facing of five-eighths inch gypsum wall board and exterior insulated metal panels over hat channels. A curtain wall system bears on top of the parapet wall, secured with shims, wood blocking, backer rod, and sealant. The interior ceiling incorporates batt insulation and five-eighths inch gypsum board finish.
