The exterior metal wall assembly consists of a pre-finished composite metal panel system mounted with attachment clips and sealant over fastener heads. A 2 1/2-inch exterior continuous rigid insulation layer sits over a fluid-applied air and water barrier membrane designated as WP-05. Exterior thermal intermittent structural attachments anchor the sub-framing through the insulation layer. The backup wall is constructed from cold-formed metal framing using C-H studs, with 5/8-inch exterior grade gypsum board on the outside and 5/8-inch gypsum board on the interior. Thermal batt insulation fills the interior stud cavity per the engineering table.
