A scheduled walk-off mat is recessed into the concrete slab with its top surface aligned flush with the adjacent finished floor. Stainless steel edge trim protects the exposed vertical corner of the slab at the transition to the mat. The length and dimensions of the recess are sized per the finish floor plan.
