The reinforced membrane is adhered to the substrate using bonding adhesive. A termination bar is mechanically fastened through the membrane, compressing the water cut-off mastic against the wall. Metal counterflashing is installed per the manufacturer's recommendations over the top of the termination bar. A bead of sealant is applied along the top joint of the counterflashing to prevent water infiltration.
