A new structural concrete slab bears adjacent to a concrete grade beam set over a minimum four-inch layer of drain rock maintained in a saturated surface dry condition. A fifteen mil vapor barrier runs beneath the structural slab and terminates with Stego Crete Claw tape. Notes require testing the concrete slab for moisture prior to new flooring installation and installing a moisture mitigation system such as Koster Vap 1 2000 if elevated moisture levels exceed manufacturer requirements.
