This storefront head detail features an aluminum fin cap extrusion aligned with insulated metal panels and backup stud framing. A head flashing integrates with continuous butyl sealant placed between the J-trim and the back of the panel. The fin cap extrusion is notched out to accommodate the head deflection track above. Dimensions establish the alignment and clear spacing between the exterior cladding face and the interior framing reference line.
