The elevator sill assembly rests on structural concrete with a shim space directly beneath the door sill. Metallic oxide waterproofing with a protective coating is applied to the vertical concrete face, complemented by a waterstop and waterproofing mortar at the construction joint. The partition system aligns back five inches from the door line, with dashed reference lines indicating the line of the sill guard and the line of the elevator car.
