A stainless steel ballast housing contains one two-lamp electronic ballast and is framed by a one-by-three-inch steel post provided by the general contractor. An extruded aluminum cover with a clear high-impact snap-in extruded prismatic clear acrylic lens sits at the top, secured by a quarter-inch thick steel mounting plate with slotted holes referencing Detail A. The assembly is fastened using quarter-twenty by half-inch stainless steel slotted machine screws. A removable, gasketed ballast access cover allows maintenance access. Pre-cast concrete pavers flank the base of the fixture.
