A rough opening for an access panel is framed within a partition of double four-inch metal studs. Cold-formed steel angles measuring 2 inches by 2 inches by 2 1/2 inches by 20 gauge are fastened to the framing members using four number 10 sheet metal screws at each connection. The opening maintains a typical clearance of two feet.
