An exterior cement plaster wall corner incorporates a rigid metal corner bead for edge protection at the outside intersection. Six-inch metal studs spaced per plan frame the corner assembly, backed by five-eighths-inch Type X gypsum sheathing and sacrificial paper layers beneath the plaster finish. Fiberglass batt insulation fills the stud cavities behind the interior gypsum board.
