Adjacent concrete tilt-up wall panels are separated by a one-half-inch vertical joint spanning from the footing to the top of the panel. A backer rod is installed at each face of the joint with continuous sealant applied across the gap. The panel edges feature chamfered corners at the exterior and interior faces to receive the sealant bead.
