A concrete cleanout box features a cast-in lid marked SEWER or STORM DRAIN, set within a six-by-six-inch concrete collar made of Caltrans minor concrete. A PVC cap seals the top of the riser, which matches the pipe size and connects via a long radius one-eighth bend. The riser ties into a forty-five degree wye fitting on the main lateral line, which is supported below by a twenty-five hundred psi Caltrans minor concrete support block. Pipe size and slope are installed as indicated on the plan.
