An acoustical core panel with a finish fabric wrapping and resin-hardened edges is secured to a wall substrate. Mechanical Z-clips provided by the panel manufacturer attach to the panel using two number seven screws minimum by two inches long. A wall clip engages the Z-clip and anchors into the metal stud backing via number twelve sheet metal screws. A leveling clip supports the bottom of the panel assembly, maintaining a three-sixteenths inch typical clearance.
