This guardrail assembly consists of one and one-half inch diameter standard pipe members. The guardrail height is set at three feet six inches above the finish floor, while the handrail is positioned at three feet zero inches. Vertical pickets are spaced at a maximum of four inches on center. A three-inch maximum clearance is maintained between the guardrail and the adjacent handrail. The assembly is anchored to a C12x20.7 structural steel channel base.
