Suspended drywall ceiling framing is supported by a vertical hanger wire tied with three tight turns in three inches at both ends. The hanger wire secures a main runner channel, intersected perpendicularly by a hat channel cross runner. Number eight by three-quarter inch self-tapping screws are installed through the framing to prevent slippage of wire ties.
