Suspended ceiling light fixtures attach to the overhead metal deck using a minimum thirteen-gauge by three-quarter-inch ceiling clip anchored with a number ten sheet metal screw. Fixture hanger wires consist of four number twelve wires when the fixture weighs more than fifty-six pounds, or two number twelve wires when weighing less than fifty-six pounds. Seismic bracing uses a minimum one-inch wide by two-inch long by twelve-gauge steel strap secured with a number ten sheet metal screw to the metal deck, maintaining a maximum forty-five-degree angle and specific wire twist requirements. The ceiling grid system connects with ceiling grid clips at each end located a maximum of three inches away.
