A roof cricket is installed behind curbs measuring two feet or more in width to divert water around the penetration. The assembly consists of tapered perlite roof insulation providing a minimum one-half inch per foot slope along the upper slope of all curbs. The height of the curb features an eight-inch minimum vertical dimension above the roof deck.
