A continuous handrail and guardrail assembly is mounted at a stair landing with an offset tread transition. The guardrail aligns vertically with a referenced detail while the horizontal handrail incorporates a smooth offset transition. All open ends of hollow structural members require capping. Spacing between members maintains a maximum clear opening of less than four inches for safety compliance.
