The louver jamb is integrated into a concrete masonry unit wall assembly, with the louver frame aligned to the exterior face of the masonry. Sealant and backer rod are applied to both the interior and exterior sides of the jamb to ensure a weather-tight seal between the louver frame and the masonry opening. The louver is positioned to align with the interior ductwork as specified in the mechanical drawings. The masonry wall assembly is designated as E01, with the sill condition located below the jamb.
