Two concrete wall panels of varying thickness are aligned using an angle ledger or double bent plate ledger system. Shim plates of variable thickness, denoted as "T", bridge the panels alongside structural steel plates measuring 3/4" by 5" by 1'-0" and 3/4" by 4" by 1'-6" in the top detail, and 3/4" by 8" by 1'-0" and 3/4" by 7" by 1'-9" in the bottom detail. Fillet welds of 1/4" and 5/16" size are specified to be applied on three sides of the plate connections. Additional information is referenced to details 1 and 2 on sheet SD.4.
