A painted steel channel stringer supports the concrete stair assembly and connects to the structural concrete slab using anchors sized by the stair contractor. A one-quarter-inch maximum joint filled with grey sealant and backer rod separates the stair landing from the slab edge. Treads feature a seven-inch maximum rise, eleven-inch run, one-half-inch nosing projection, and a two-inch wide painted contrasting luminous striping.
