A reinforced roof membrane is secured over rigid insulation and roof sheathing supported by a roof truss. Fasteners and fastener plates are installed through the membrane and insulation layers per the manufacturer specifications. Sealant is applied at the membrane lap with a one-half inch minimum edge distance and a one and one-half inch minimum lap width. All fastening and sealant application must follow manufacturer instructions.
