A vertical reciprocating conveyor pit edge transitions into the adjacent warehouse slab with a nine-inch separation. A steel angle protects the concrete corner of the pit slab, which features a six-inch upper recess and a seven-inch lower thickness. Reinforcement for the concrete slabs and exact pit dimensions are coordinated with structural drawings and equipment specifications.
