Cold-formed metal stud framing supports exterior sheathing covered by an air and moisture barrier. A drainable EIFS system with expanded polystyrene insulation board is secured using an adhesive and basecoat. A drainage strip is integrated at the soffit transition alongside a manufacturer-specified air and water barrier. The finish assembly consists of a direct-applied base coat with reinforcing mesh and a final finish coat.
