The gate assembly is constructed with four-inch square steel tube jambs supported by eighteen-inch diameter by two-foot-deep concrete jamb post footings. Six-inch by eighteen-inch by three-sixteenths-inch steel plates are welded to the frame to receive gate hardware and future electrical strikes, intercoms, or card readers. A steel receptor channel spans the full height of the gate and is welded to the fence post. The installation sits over a concrete walk and a concrete footing for the gate track, with push and pull hardware and a self-closer added per the door schedule.
