This structural connection detail features a pin secured by a sleeve and cap plate assembly atop a column web. The sleeve is fastened to the cap plate with three-sixteenths inch welds and connected to the column web using three-sixteenths inch fillet welds. A pin detailed per sheet S-528 fits into the sleeve assembly mounted over the column layout. General notes dictate that member to gusset welds follow standard detailing unless otherwise noted.
