A three-eighths-inch expansion joint filler material with sealant is placed between adjacent concrete paving panels. The six-inch thick concrete slab features three-quarter-inch diameter by twenty-four-inch smooth dowels spaced at eighteen inches on center, positioned at the center of the slab across the joint.
