The grit washer discharge chute assembly connects the grit screw to the grit hopper using a twenty-four-inch flexible rubber connection and a twenty-four-by-twenty-four-inch square stubout and flange. The discharge chute and grit screw are supplied by the grit washer manufacturer, while the grit hopper is supplied by its respective manufacturer. The assembly maintains a minimum seventy-degree angle and interfaces directly with the cyclone underflow collection box, foul air duct, and overflow pipe.
