A fire extinguisher cabinet is set into a framed opening within a gypsum board partition. The wall construction consists of steel studs finished with layers of gypsum board on both sides, creating a recessed housing for the cabinet body. Cabinet opening sizes must be verified with the applicable product specifications prior to framing.
