A prefabricated vent stack flashing penetrates a roof assembly consisting of a membrane, rigid insulation, and metal deck supported by wood nailers. A stainless steel clamping ring secures the top of the boot, sealed with caulk per manufacturer recommendations. All membrane penetrations are installed per manufacturer recommendations with an eighteen inch clearance maintained between pipe penetrations and rooftop vertical obstructions. Enhanced securement of the roof membrane is provided as required for wind uplift resistance.
