Two 5/8-inch diameter by 10-inch minimum length steel cane bolts with 2-inch long handles are mounted to the trash enclosure gates, painted to match the gates. Each cane bolt slides through a 3/4-inch diameter by 2-inch long steel pipe welded to the gate frame. The assembly provides secure latching into the ground with specified clearances and spacing dimensions.
