This precast concrete fence curb assembly features a precast curb set over a gravel subbase and prepared subgrade. Section A at the panel shows an ornamental metal fence with three-quarter-inch square pickets core drilled and set in non-shrink grout, sitting flush with the finish grade pitched at one-quarter inch per foot over reinforcing by fabricator. Section B at the post shows a square ornamental metal fence post set in non-shrink grout within an opening sized three-quarters of an inch larger than the outside diameter of the post, extending into a concrete footing with reinforcing by fabricator and a one-half-inch mortar setting bed. The precast concrete curb sections feature three-eighths-inch maximum sealed mortar joints with color selected by the landscape architect.
