The upper detail shows a joist bearing on a continuous 3" x 3" x 1/4" angle anchored to a 6-inch concrete panel or CMU wall with three-quarter-inch diameter Hilti Hit HY-150 adhesive anchors spaced at twenty-four inches on center. A 1/8-inch fillet weld secures the joist to the support angle. The lower detail shows an alternate joist connection using 0.180-inch shot pins spaced at twenty-four inches on center to attach directly into the concrete or masonry wall.
