A six and a half inch by six and a half inch by quarter inch aluminum plate bears against the underside of a structural steel beam flange. Field-welded threaded studs installed by the solar reflector contractor secure a half-inch aluminum plate assembly to the connection. The primary structural steel member is sized and detailed per structural drawings.
