The roof assembly is supported by a structural roof structure with roof sheathing installed per structural requirements. Rigid insulation is layered above the sheathing, topped with a reinforced membrane. Fasteners and fastener plates secure the system through the insulation per the manufacturer's specifications. Sealant is applied at the joint with specific minimum clearances including one and one-half inch and one-half inch minimum dimensions, spaced approximately five and one-half inches.
