The framed opening in a light-gauge steel stud partition wall features a built-up header and back-to-back jamb studs sized per the schedule. A closure stud is installed at the opening jamb, and tracks are attached to studs at each flange using number eight screws. Three number eight screws secure the header framing at the corner junction. The wall tracks attach to the concrete slab using continuous tracks with point-one-eighty-inch power-driven shot pins spaced at sixteen inches on center, unless noted otherwise. Vertical studs and tracks are fastened throughout with number eight screws at twelve inches on center.
