An extruded aluminum frame forms the door jamb, receiving a scheduled door with an integrated silencer. The adjacent partition consists of gypsum board layers on each side enclosing a sound attenuation blanket. The frame interfaces with the partition with a 1 1/2-inch dimension and a 3/8-inch offset.
