A six-inch diameter outer diameter galvanized painted steel pipe stands three feet six inches above finished floor, filled solidly with concrete. The pipe welds to a one-half inch by nine inch by nine inch hot-dip galvanized embed plate set flush with the top of the concrete deck. Two half-inch diameter ASTM A36 anchor rods extend downward into a ten-inch thick cantilevered slab reinforced with two number five bars at six feet zero inches each way. Fillet welds secure the steel assembly to the embedment.
