A metal louver assembly is mounted to the underside of a concrete wall using shims as required for proper alignment and support. A galvanized head drip flashing directs moisture away from the opening above the louver frame. Continuous backer rod and sealant fill the joint around the frame to seal the exterior envelope. The louver unit is secured to the concrete wall in accordance with the notice of acceptance, featuring metal louver blades and an interior insect screen per the manufacturer's specifications. The building line extends beyond the assembly.
