An aluminum door threshold sets over the finish floor adjacent to an expansion filler at the slab edge. A stainless steel flashing, set in compatible sealant over a self-adhered sheet membrane, extends down eighteen inches from the top of the slab to provide continuous waterproofing. The aluminum door and curtain wall system integrate with adjacent jamb flanges, requiring all joints to be lapped and sealed.
